Orly "Rage"

My first venture into Orly polishes, when I saw this beauty sitting on my local Ulta shelf I just HAD to have it! Rose gold is so popular these days, and I am totally in that fan club. I have an awesome Michael Kors rose gold watch that I just adore (too glamorous to wear on a daily basis though!) - a rose gold polish though? Totally appropriate for everyday wear. ;)
Rose gold is an alloy of gold and copper that creates a lovely metallic pink - the sophisticated lady's pink, it is also more youthful that yellow gold, and more colorful than silver! (At least, that is my opinion.)  Creates a lovely accent to any and all outfits.

That being said, I have NO idea why the folks at Orly decided to call this lovely polish "Rage" - Rage to me should be a fiery red, not a metallic pink! How about we call it Metallic Rose? It is an awesome combination of rose gold and silver teeny tiny glitters that create a lovely foil shimmer. This is my first foray into foils, and I have to say, they are awesome! One coat creates a completely opaque sparkle, like you are wearing real gold on your fingernails! A little too bold to do on all of your nails (at least for me!), I did do an accent nail with my Essie "Pop Art Pink" manicure. It looks a lot more yellow in this photo than it is in real life.

Trust me, you MUST have this polish. Gorgeous color, opaque in ONE coat, no top coat needed to enhance the sparkle. A++, I plan on wearing this all the time.
